Paris - Day 4: The Louvre and the 4th of July

The 4th of July, our last and final day in Paris. I have been dying to wear this extremely loud and patriotic blazer since I got it a few months back. It was a vintage find at a local boutique back at school in Tallahassee. What better day to rock it then the 4th of July in Paris, right?

We started off our day with the Louvre (it was open today). We spent a little while there observing the beautiful artwork and of course the Mona Lisa. It was a battle to see her though with how many tourists there.

After that we had the day off to ourselves. Naturally I went shopping and had a wonderful afternoon snack of wine and cheese. It was nice but the weather was extremely hot!

For our last night in Paris our teachers planned a dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. Of course the only way to celebrate is a bottle of champagne and thats just what we did. After we went to see the Eiffel Tower light up and relaxing in the grass with a bottle of wine. Such a great idea until the rain started and we were forced to go home.

Such a great experience in Paris. I can't wait to go back someday whether its on business or just a shopping spree later in life with my rich husband. :)

What I am wearing:

  • Vintage red, white, and blue blazer from Avant Garb
  • Theory white blouse
  • J Brand black skinnies
  • Combat boots from Aldo
